FRIDAY FEELS LIKE... DISCONNECTING!
I know, I know... I’m always rattling on about the importance of connecting, picking up your phone and connecting with friends and family. I’m not replacing any of that, this is about also connecting with YOU.
Sometimes we need to take time to put the phone down, stop the scrolling, disconnect from our external world and spend time reconnecting with ourselves.
For many this can be an uncomfortable thing to do. We are so used to spinning plates, running on auto-pilot fuelled by adrenaline, chasing our tails, ignoring our own needs... pushing our emotions further down.
So today I encourage you, even it’s for 5 minutes, to disconnect from your external world and spend some time connecting with you.
If you can do for a few hours... AMAZING!!
Practice doing this every day, try to make it a new habit and part of your daily self-care routine and notice the benefits on your well-being... and the stickier it feels to begin with, the more you most likely need to do it!!
