MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK: TOOL #4 MEDIA - TURN IT OFF

💫 TOOL #4 MEDIA - TURN IT OFFThis morning I let the cards decide what tool you could try to use today to BE KIND TO YOUR MIND. Perfect. Time to switch off...✅ Phones✅ Computers ✅ Tablets & iPads ✅ Television ✅ Game Consoles ✅ Any other screens or technology that may expose you to stress, overwhelm, negative images or information A few weeks ago I turned off my phone, including the news and social media for over 72 hours. How can I teach them to self-care if I don’t set them the example? How can I nag husband/sister/mother/friends/you (delete as appropriate) to self-care if I don’t do it myself? Some call it Selfish. I call it Essential. Although...

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK: TOOL #14 POSITIVE PEOPLE

TOOL #14 POSITIVE PEOPLE Today, I encourage you to connect with a Positive Person in your life. Check in with them and make some plans or simply have a chat. Research has proven that who we spend our time with can influence our well-being. The more positive the company we keep, the more positive we are. When we spend time with the people in our lives who make us feel good and energised, support and encourage us and are kind, this can make us feel good and even influences us to adopt a more positive mindset. Positivity is a magnet, positivity attracts positivity. The more positive you become the more easily you will attract the positive people and experiences into...
