TOOL #26 - THIS IS ME

This is Me ...and I think for the first time in a very long time, possibly ever, I accept me for who I have been and who I am right now (cue tears). All versions, from 0.1 to 3.9 (soon to be 4.0) I’ve been open here already about my declining mental health last year that led me back into talking therapy. This has resulted in a lot of reflection, digging deep into my present and my past, to really try and understand the root cause of my fears and what triggered the overthinking and anxiety that made me feel like I was going crazy once more. Whatever the subject, the reason or the root, it all comes back to...

THE WELLNESS WEDNESDAY SHOW - ALCOHOLISM

On this weeks Solihull Radio The Wellness Wednesday show Caroline Gibbs shared her experience with alcoholism. There are approximately 76 million people in the world with an alcohol use disorder, such as alcohol dependency. Caroline mentioned that on average 12-13 people are impacted directly by 1 person who is alcohol dependent! Are you one of those people impacted? Sometimes when caring for someone else or when struggling with someone else’s behaviours we actually forget to look after our own wellness. It’s important that you...

TOOL #20 HOW THIS TOOL LED ME TO A CRYSTAL HEALING DIPLOMA!

Tool #20 Learning Something New has already been working hard for me in 2020!! 🌟I’ve always been intrigued by crystals and crystal healing, yet I’ve never really “got it” and used to feel quite overwhelmed at the thought of trying to “get it”. It is a never-ending subject, so much to learn. In May 2019 whilst on holiday in “our happy place” my 5 year old asked me if I could take him to a shop so he could buy a crystal for him. I took him to a lovely Pembrokeshire gift shop where they had a huge array of beautiful crystals, he was fascinated by all of them (and so was I), this triggered something in me and led...

TOOL #16 - HOW A GOOD DECLUTTER CAN HELP YOU LET GO OF THE PAST

This weekend I’ve pulled out Tool #9 ‘Daily Self Care’ and Tool #16 Let Go & Release Techniques, and took myself on a declutter mission. 3 bedrooms down, 1 more to go... and lots of great clothes, bags, other random “stuff” and even a baby monitor to donate to the Charity Shop (there goes Tool #21 Kindness flying by...)It’s also amazing what I’ve found, including a precious necklace I thought I had lost over a year ago, I had tears of joy when I found it “in a safe place”. Decluttering “stuff” also helps declutter the mind and can be really good for your well-being. It’s making space for new and positive things to come into your life. ...and at...
