I always say just take the tools from My Wellness Toolbox that work for you and leave behind those that don’t. We all have different tools. However, Tool #21 Kindness should be in everyone’s toolbox. Kindness not only has a direct benefit on your health and happiness, but it has the same positive impacts on those that receive your kindness. Being kind to others is also being kind to your mind.
Today, carry out a random act of kindness for a loved one. It can be simple, take minutes and not cost a thing, yet may be the most important thing you do for them and you today.
#mentalhealthawarenessweek is important to help bring down the walls of stigma and to encourage us all to talk about how we are feeling. I can’t wait for when this type of week is not required, when people do not need to be reminded to BE KIND TO YOUR MIND... EVERYDAY!
